We like to encourage people to spend time in Bath Place and share our enjoyment of this lovely corner of Somerset.
We know that it is good to have something that interests the children. We have organised competitions like spot the oddity and count the ducks! We even had one of the Somerset dragons on display a few summers ago.
Christmas is a good time for a Christmas Hamper prize draw.
Our yarn bombing events have been appreciated by thousands of people and attracted a good deal of publicity and admiration. In 2017, we attracted huge attention with the amazing Star Wars yarnbombing to celebrate 40 years since the film’s initial release. In 2016, the Alice in Wonderland theme made our little street even more magical.
Those who lost their lives in wars have been commemorated with thoughtful displays of knitted poppies for Remembrance and of course, parades, musicians and carol singers form part of the mix.
